Lymphocytes Treg, Th17, TFH - known and unknown facts
Paulina Niedźwiedzka-Rystwej, Wiesław Deptuła

The paper describes subpopulations of lymphocytes, i.e. natural regulatory cells Treg, helper lymphocytes Th17 and follicular helper TFH. Tregs are the cells characterized by the presence of many receptors, among which CD4+, CD25+ and FOXP3 are the most important. Those cells are the crucial elements of immunological system, as they have been noticed in many diseases, mainly autoimmunological. Lymphocytes Th17 are the cells devoted to fight antigens, mainly bacteria. TFH cells make subpopulation that cooperates with B cells to effectively destroy antigens with the use of specific mechanisms.
